Going from White Sox to Red Sox

Until we meet again, Hyde Park!

Here we go! I am going to miss Chicago. I can't believe I have to leave my very first home already.

moving blues...or is it just pining for that volleyball...

I still know where my bed is...

packing in the peanut gallery (or is it, with the peanut gallery?)

a silly trio...working more on quality time than packing

Josta made himself at home in the hallway. "Maybe this is where we are moving to?"

Thanks Dad, we don't know what we would have done if you and mom hadn't come out to help us finish packing up and loading that truck!

Is it time for a break yet?

It just doesn't look like home anymore...

leaving 503 for the last time.

We got our new/used washer and dryer from Angel first thing Sunday morning and took a picture to prove it....

Here we are, at Grandma Suzy and Poppa Jim's, driving to the Fort Wayne Zoo, before heading to Boston...

an extremely thoughtful going away present

Saying goodbye...
I don't know where we're going, but I'm going too...

Lori made a deliciously simple lunch of shish-ka-bobs and salad before we got on the road Sunday afternoon

an adoring adieu

Last things last.

An incredible rest stop!

new york state, who knew?

What a pretty drive...

We saw several deer at dusk in New York State and finally stopped the truck to get out and get these shots...the product reminded me of what Monet might have done with pine trees...

the first sign for Boston, albeit pretty blurry...

Dropping off the Penske truck
Whew! I can't believe some people move ever year or so...it is NOT fun.

Jayme! Great job with the pictures of your journey. I have to admit to watery eyes at the sight of your empty apartment. Can't wait to see more :)
love you

Oh boy- I look soo crazy in that picture. You and Mom look adorable as well as our noses :) I was just laughing a bit too much.

Moving is highly overrated and I only went 5 miles!
Hope you have a great day
love you!
