Homemade Soup in Freezing Temperatures



This new giant stock pot from my parents for Christmas will never be this shiny again...but boy, will it be used! Today I made Martha Stewart's Chicken and Rice Soup. There was so much room in this pot, that I put two thirds of it in the freezer for next time! My favorite ingredients are the peppercorns and parsnips...

Wow! You really did fill it! I still haven't filled mine, though I've used it several times. The chicken and and rice soup sounds good. I'll have to try it. love you!

No, it was only half full. I would be crazy to fill it--I wouldn't want any food to go to waste!
