Tuscan Tomato Soup

Today was Columbus Day and to our delight, I did not have classes and Scott did not have to work! WOW. We slept in, had coffee and left over apple pie and since it is such a cold fall day, I pulled out the William Sonoma Soup Cook Book Scott's Grandma gave us a few years ago. I stumbled across this recipe and decided to make it since we have an abundance of fresh tomotoes and basil...

Simple, but DELICIOUS.

Hi Jayme,
Ooooooooooohhhh...that looks delicious. I'm so glad you enjoyed a relaxing day together. Did you decide not to go to Concord?
I took the special niece, nephew and mom treats over to your Mom's house today. I got to see Jeny and your Dad, and I got a peek at that adorable Noah too!
Love you so much,
Mom

Yummy! Was it really a cold fall day?! It was 90 degrees yesterday and over 80 again today. What an Indian Summer we're having. I thought I heard that it would be hot for you too. Guess I misunderstood the forcast!
Lori brought the goodies this afternoon. The girls were sleeping, but Noah came in from outside to see what she brought. I heard him talking to you later saying, "that nice lady who brought our treats . . ." I told him that was Uncle Scott's mom! Then he remembered ;)
They were so excited to get the special treats from you. Noah said that Annabelle would get to have a taste of hers if I ate it, so of course I obliged.
Talk to you soon . . .
